Water-lily

Water Lily

As the water lily grows up from mud into something
of great beauty, people also grow and change into
something more beautiful. Using freeser paper and
invisibel thread with a zig-zag stitch on your
sewing machine means that you can quickly and
easily creat your own, unique fiber art piece.
This is a pattern that also lends itself to painting
and embellishing to make the flower come to life.

Price: $16.00 plus $2.95 S&H.

Waterdance

The sun or the moon – which will you choose?
Either way, it is the use of lots of scraps in a variety of
values that will be important in making the water dance.
This pattern has directions for using freezer paper and
invisible thread with a zig-zag stitch on your sewing
machine. The result is a fiber art piece that looks very
challenging, but is actually very easy to do!

Finished Size 57" x 19"

Spirals

A passage or a plant – which will you choose?
Spirals can be interpreted in two distinctly different
ways. In both, however, the value of the fabric will
be important in making the overall results sing.

Blue Heron

The Great Blue Heron, an elegant, shy bird can often be
spotted near rivers and lakes. Because it is such a still bird
when it stands in water, its reflection is visible. The Native
Americans believe the Blue Heron is the symbol for
introspection and self-awareness. May you always see
a reflection of yourself and see all that is within.

Finished size of quilt is 30” by 48”

Price: $16.00 plus $2.95 S&H.

Ginkgo

The ginkgo leaf is considered to be the symbol of longevity
in China, and of enduring hope in Japan. You can create
your own ginkgo tree by using the traditional freezer paper
templates and turned-under edges for the leaves, or try
your hand at painting fabric with acrylic paint first, then
cutting out raw-edge leaves that you add to the piece
after all the quilting's been done. This version creates
a more 3D effect, but either way, you'll end up with a
piece that will add beauty to any room for years to come.

Finished size of quilt is 35” by 56”

Price: $16.00 plus $2.95 S&H.

Currents IV Pattern

Currents

Currents came to me as I was dreaming of the ocean,
however it also makes a visually stunning fire as well.
Using freezer paper and invisible thread with a zig-zag
stitch on your sewing machine means that you don't
piece the points - they are naturally created using this
method. The result is a fiber art piece that looks very
challenging, but is actually very easy to do!

Price: $16.00 plus $2.95 S&H.

Mandala

The word "mandala" is loosely translated to mean
"circle" in the Sanskrit language, but a mandala is
far more than a simple shape. It represents wholeness,
and can be seen as a model for the structure of life itself.
By coloring one segment the same from one quarter-circle
to the next, you can create movement and interest in your
own version of the mandala.

Price: $16.00 plus $2.95 S&H.

Labyrinth I

Labyrinths have been used for thousands of years as
a tool for spiritual communion and healing. Unlike mazes
where the objective is to get from one end to the other as
quickly as possible all the while encountering dead ends,
wrong ways, and choices you must make, labyrinths have
only one way in and one way out. So, it is all about the
journey, not getting to the end that is important. For this
reason, labyrinths are considered to be a metaphor for life.

Price: $16.00 plus $2.95 S&H.
